Alex Wolman was born in 1950 in Berdichev, Ukraine. He graduated from the Music College in Uman city and later from the Institute of Culture in Minsk. In 1950, as a member of Kiev Military Orchestra, he became a laureate of the State Contest. Alex successfully toured the former Soviet Union and foreign countries. He worked in Kiev Felarmony as a soloist instrumentalist and then in the orchestra of the universal military group in Prague, Czechoslovakia. In 1991 he came to Israel and became a soloist-instrumentalist in "The Karmiel Orchestra”. In 2000, as a member of the orchestra, he became a laureate of The All-Israeli Contest of Orchestral Groups. Several times he toured Europe and America with the orchestra.
