Michael Pitarov, balalaika.
Michael Pitarov was born in 1950 in Magnitogorsk city, Russia. From 1966 to 1969 he studied in the Music College and then from 1969 until 1974 in the Ural State Conservatory.
After graduation Michael worked as a music teacher in the Music School and Music College in Nizny Tagil.
In 1991 he came to Israel and started to work in "The Karmiel Orchestra". In 2000, as a member of the orchestra, Michael became a laureate of the first prize of The All-Israeli Contest of Orchestral Groups. With the orchestra he toured the countries of Europe and America.
